Seward Women Place 24th at National Tennis Tournament

The Seward County Lady Saints Tennis team finished their 2010 NJCAA National Tournament trip to Tucson, Arizona 24th after recording 5 ?® points on the week. Fanny Benincasa and Kauana Goncalves got Seward off to a good start on day one with wins but that would be the only wins the Lady Saints would be able to get on day 1. Benincasa and Goncalves both lost their next matches to eliminate them from the tournament but the Lady Saints would get wins from Antigone Lowery and Lindy Kowalchuk in the consolation bracket to end up with 5 ?® points. Seward finished 4-10 in singles play in the tournament and failed to win a doubles match going 0-6.
