Seward GOP Endorses Garrett Love for Senate

KSCB News - September 7, 2012 3:22 pm

The Seward County Republican Party have officially endorsed Garrett Love to retain his seat as State Senator. Love was elected to the State House in the 115th District in 2010, but was appointed to the State Senate after then State Senator Tim Huelskamp was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Love was unopposed in the Republican Primary in August, but does have a Democrat challenger in the General Election. Seward County GOP Chairman Reid Petty said the choice is clear.

“The Seward County Republican Party proudly endorses Senator Love who will fight for limited government and promote fiscally responsible policies that will help grow the state, while his Democratic opponent has publicly supported Barack Obama and ObamaCare,” Petty said.

The Seward GOP added a $500 donation to Love’s campaign to go along with another $500 they donated to Love in July.
