Seward Forward Commits to Nebraska

KSCB News - April 2, 2013 6:48 am

Seward sophomore forward Leslee Smith never teamed with former Saint Deverell Biggs. That will change next year when Smith joins Biggs at Nebraska. Smith verbally committed to the Cornhuskers. Biggs redshirted at NU this year. Smith is a 6’8" 250 pound behomoth from Longlook British Virgin Islands. Smith averaged eight points and seven rebounds per game for the 25-8 Jayhawk West champion Saints this season. The SMU transfer played for Matt Doherty and started six games and played 25 for the Mustangs in the 2012 season. Tim Miles just finished his first year as head coach at Nebraska. They went 15-18 this season.
