Joe Denoyer - May 6, 2019 8:56 pm

The Seward County Commission met Monday evening and after hearing from Bambi Fulton of Stepping Stone Shelter, approved the Emergency Shelter Grant.

Also approved were the Comprehensive and Behavioral Grant Plans for the Cimarron Basin Community Corrections.

Greg Standard, Emergency Management Director presented the Commission the County Alert and Notification System, which the Commission approved at a start up cost of $5,200 for 3 years from Hyper Alert. There will be an annual fee after the initial 3 years.

The Commission decided to reopen the bids for work stations for the District Court as only one sealed bid came in and it came in after the May 1st deadline.

After legal review, and contract clarifications, the Commissioners also approved the Authorization of Services with the Arnold Group for Human Resources in the amount of $4,800 for 3 years.
