KSCB News - October 27, 2011 11:16 pm

The Saints Bookstore and the Wellness Center in conjunction with the Development Foundation at Seward County Community College/Area Technical School, held it’s first ever Spooky Saints 2 mile Fun Run/Walk. Over 40 participants joined in the event, raising over $400.00 for scholarships offered through the Foundation. Runners and walkers of all ages came out to support SCCC/ATS, some even wearing their best Halloween attire. Jerri Lynn Lyddon, one of the organizers of the event, was pleasantly surprised with the number of participantst for the event considering it was the first time it was held. Kelly Cook, Director of the Wellness Center was also excited with the turn out, and was already looking forward to next year adding that he had some ideas to make it even better. All in all everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
