Saints Split at Rose State

KSCB News - March 18, 2009 12:00 am

The Saints are using their two day four game trip through the “Sooner State” to get most of their players into the game. They are using many backups in game two Tuesday in Midwest City and Wednesday in El Reno. Yesterday the Saints won game one 13-6 but lost game two 6-4 without their regular lineup at Rose State. Hayden Holub pitched into the fourth in game one as Seward built a 13-3 lead. Position player Kade Kauk came in to finish the game after Roldan Ochoa hurt his back in relief of Holub. During the double header, Mikel Huston (1), Billy Ninemire (1), and Luke Campbell (3) homered. The Saints play two today at Redlands in El Reno with Michael Alger and Avram Carlson pitching for the 15-7 Saints.
