Rush Limbaugh Donates to Joplin’s Cause

JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) – Conservative talk radio commentator Rush

Limbaugh is chipping in $100,000 to help Joplin recover from the

deadly May tornado.

The Cape Girardeau native brought the cash along with a

tractor-trailer load of bottled tea to a Fourth of July event in

the city. The donation will go the Joplin Tornado First Response

Fund.

Mayor Mike Woolston said in a city news release that Limbaugh

knows "the heart of Joplin is still strong."

Limbaugh chose Joplin to visit because the city received the
