Reward Offered In Horse Shootings

A $1,000 reward is being offered in the case of two horses that were shot in Ford County.

The Ford County Sheriff’s Department responded to 106 Road on August 29th. Two horses had been shot in the leg. A witness reported hearing what sounded like a gunshot between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on that day.

A brown gelding yearling colt valued at $5,000 and a sorrel filly yearling valued at $7,500 were destroyed due to the seriousness of their injuries.
