Redskins Sweep Colby

Liberal put it all together in Colby Monday night. The Redskin baseball team took two at Colby 4-1 and 10-9. In game one, Tyson Deaton spun off a complete game two hitter. Liberal played errorless baseball in game one. In game two, Liberal banged out 16 hits and played well in all but one inning. The Redskins scored one in the first, two in the second, and six in the third. The Eagles plated four runs on two errors and four hits in the sixth to get back in the game. Austin Pitts pitched the first four innings and Kyle Potts pitched the final three. The Redskins are 7-7 while the Eagles fall to 9-6. Liberal goes to Garden City on Friday.
