Redskins Stay in WAC Race with Double OT Win in Garden City

This is the high point to this point in the season.  Liberal went to Garden City and beat the Buffaloes for a season sweep over one of their rivals.  It took double overtime for Liberal to defeat Garden City 2-1 at Buffalo Stadium in Garden City.  Cristian Sobalvarro scored the first goal in the 37th minute unassisted.  Mike Fonseca scored with four minutes left in double overtime and was assisted by Robert Campos.  Liberal is 6-4 and 4-1 in the WAC and Garden City is 6-5 overall and 2-5 in the WAC.  The Redskins play at Hays Thursday.
