Redskins Run Past Tigers

Liberal defeated Guymon 66-47 Tuesday night in the Big House.  It’s Liberal’s sixth straight win over Guymon and 11th in a row in the Big House over the Tigers.

The Redskins led 12-4 early and 16-8 after one quarter.  The Skins bolted to a 24-10 lead before the Tigers roared back to make it 26-22 in the halftime locker room.  LHS took control of the game in the third leading 49-34 after three and 66-47 was the final.

Deladris Green poured in 19 points while Kylan Thomas had 15.  Seward made 51 percent of their shots.  Green had eight rebounds and Tyrik King had six.  Guymon’s Jovan Ochoa led the Tigers with 13 while Hugo Hinojos had 10.

Liberal is 13-2 while Guymon is 11-7.  The Redskins play at Hays Friday night at about 7:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  Guymon hosts Heritage Hall Friday and Hooker on Saturday.
