Pitts Picks Aggies

Liberal’s Austen Pitts signed Wednesday morning at Liberal High School to play baseball at Panhandle State. The outfielder hit .397 with 10 RBI’s, three doubles, and three triples for the 13-8 Redskins. Pitts was 13-14 stealing bases. Pitts was a three year starter for coach Eric Olmstead and a four year varsity player. Steve Appel is the interim head coach at OPSU for a program which was 11-41 this spring. The interviews with Pitts and Olmstead will air Thursday morning on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
