Sharlea Juanita “Shari” Wren, age 77, died Saturday, August 17,2019, at the Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal., Kansas
She was born July 7, 1942 in Baca County, Colorado, the daughter of Melvin L. and Dorothy (Wallace) Randall.
Shari graduated from high school in Springfield, Colorado.
She married Elmer LeRoy Wren, April 26, 1959 in Clayton New Mexico, they were married for 46 years. LeRoy proceeded her in death on February 2, 2006. She was a Homemaker
Shari enjoyed refurbishing lamps, Sewing and Quilting, Knitting, Crocheting, working on photo albums, she loved to go to Garage Sales and decorating with the antiques she found.
Shari is The Loving mother of her 2 Sons L.D. Wren of Liberal and Darren Dwayne Wren of Coffeeville, Kansas.
Endearing sister of Doretta L. Delay, Debra Charlene Cox, Benita Suzette Cooper.
Beloved Grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 15 and great-great grandmother of 5
Sharlea was preceded in death by Her Parents, husband LeRoy, Son Shayne and brothers Eugene Thomas Randall and Douglas LaVerle Randall.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019 form 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brenneman -Hornung Funeral Home, 1212 West 2nd Avenue Liberal, Kansas, 67901. The Family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019, 10:30 AM at the Church of Christ, 2501 North Grant Avenue, Liberal, Kansas. Pastor Dennis “Skip” Francis presiding.
Interment will be Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 2:30 PM CDT/ 1:30 MDT at the Stonington Cemetery, Stonington, Colorado.
