Ronnie Roberts

Ronnie G. Roberts, age 67, passed away early Sunday morning, October 8, 2017, at the Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt, Kansas.
 
He was born August 13, 1950, at Dublin, Texas, the son of Audi and Billie (Hall) Roberts.  As a young boy he attended school in Dublin and later graduating from Dora High School in 1969.  A resident of Meade since 2004, moving from Kinsley, he was a professional driver, working for Kindsvater Trucking for twenty-six years.
 
He enjoyed watching the Kansas City Royals, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
 
He married Connie Roberts and the couple later divorced.  In 1981, he married Sheri Foust.  On August 10, 2001, he married Karen Fahnert at Kinsley, Kansas, she precedes him in death on February 21, 2012.  On July 14, 2012, he married Luella Koebrlein at Meade, Kansas.  She survives.
 
Other survivors include a son, Ben Roberts (Jami) of Meade; a daughter, Amanda Roberts (Joey) of Meade; a stepson, Easton Fregon (Jen) of Meade; two stepdaughters, Keeli Vessel of Lubbock, Texas, and Abigail Haskell (Max) of Dodge City; his mother, Billie Roberts of Portales, New Mexico; three brothers, Gary Roberts (Linda) of Hill Center, Texas, Russell Roberts of Portales, New Mexico, and Larry Roberts (Lori) of Portales, New Mexico; two sisters, Patricia Young (Ronnie) of Clovis, New Mexico, and Sharon Reynolds (Tony) of Mountainair, New Mexico; and thirteen grandchildren.
 
He is preceded in death by a son, David Roberts on November 6, 1976; wife Karen; and his father.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service in the Gracleand Cemetery, Meade.
 
The family would welcome memorials to Friends of the Meade State Lake or the Ronnie Roberts memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
