Richard Lee Parmenter, age 80, died November 19, 2018 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, KS. He was born November 16, 1938 in Columbus, KS, the son of Foyle Thomas and Bernice (Zook) Parmenter, Sr.
He graduated from Columbus High School, Columbus, KS, in 1956. He married Carolyn Keltner in July of 1956 in Miami, OK. She preceded him in death.
He worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company for 37 year, retiring in 1993, as a Right of Way Superintendent.

2 Sons Richard Parmenter, Jr. and wife Kathy Mechanicsburg, IL
Michael Parmenter and wife Colleen Liberal, KS
1 Daughter Donna Thorp and husband Randall Kismet, KS
6 Grandchildren: Amanda Hannel and husband Zach, Cassandra Parmenter, Megan Parmenter, Heath Parmenter, Tucker Thorp and wife Jacie and Garrett Thorp. 1 Great Grandchild, Maya Hannel.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Brother Foyle Thomas Parmenter, Jr., and 1 Sister Betty D. Kopp.
A private family service and inurnment will take place at a later date.
