Jaxon Anthony Newport Silva

Jaxon Anthony Newport Silva, age 1, of Ulysses, Kansas, died Friday, October 6, 2017, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born August 31, 2016, in Lakin, Kansas, the son of Trinity Newport and Jayden Silva.

Survivors include his parents; Trinity Newport and Jayden Silva, grandparents; Debra Newport of Ulysses, Kansas, Ron Newport of Omaha, Nebraska, Tasha Nelson of Ryan, Oklahoma, and Peter Silva of Hugoton, Kansas, great-grandparents; Robert and Beverly Spencer of Limon, Colorado, Brenda Dunham of Ryan, Oklahoma, and Virdia Newport of Lakin, Kansas, great-great-grandmother; Irene Irmer of San Juan Capistrano, California, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jaxon is preceded in death by his granddads; Scotty Nathan Elliston and Jim Nelson, and great-great-granddads; Irvin Irmer and Robert Newport.

Funeral service will be held Friday, October 13, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses, Kansas, with Reverend Richard Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Kansas. Friends may call on Thursday, October 12, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses, Kansas.
