Gerald “Jerry” Lee Coyle, 81, of Turpin, OK died October 26, 2019 near Ulysses, KS.
He was born October 19, 1938 in Taloga, OK. to Andrew and Arzella Kolby Coyle.
He went to Fairview High School and later earned his GED which he was very proud of.
On June 10, 1967 Jerry married Wilma Ann Houska in Fairview, OK. She died May 12, 2009.
Jerry formed WAC (Wilma Ann Coyle) pumping, a Gas and Oil Exploration Company. He was very proud to still be working.
He is survived by his son, Darren and wife Teresa of Liberal, KS Daughter Jerri and husband John Gilcrease of Garden City, KS. Brother Tommy and wife Carol Coyle of Kiowa, KS. Sisters, Deloris Diggs of Cleo Springs, OK, Lavera Howerton of Dripping Springs, TX and Barbara Koch of Enid, OK. Grandchildren: Brooke Coyle, Sterling Coyle, Cameron Coyle, Joshua Gilcrease, Kristina Gilcrease. He also has 7 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Kevin and a sister, Carol Osborn.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 pm, Sunday, November 3rd with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 pm at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no viewing as the casket will be closed.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday November 4, 2019 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Keith Anglemyer officiating.
Burial will be in Restlawn cemetery with Military rites by Lawrence M. Wimmer Post # 80, Liberal, Kansas.
