Clark Littell

Clark Littell, age 82, died Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. He was born October 5, 1935, on the farm near Rolla, Kansas, the son of Hardin and Lorean (Veatch) Littell.

Clark grew up in Morton County. He was a farmer, welder, and business owner of an inspection company. Clark traveled with his job and had the opportunity to live in many places including Rolla, Hugoton, and moving to Amarillo, Texas, in 1978. Clark loved to interact with children of all ages. He also enjoyed skydiving, flying airplanes, watching sports, the KU Jayhawks, and was a practical joker. Clark was a member of the Rolla Jaycee’s, Lion’s Club, Shriner’s, and earned his 50-year pin with the Hugoton Masonic Lodge #406.

Clark married Lavonn Dyer Griffin on June 5, 1978 in Ft. Collins, Colorado. She survives.

Other survivors include his children, Steve Littell and wife Marcia of Baldwin, Kansas, Cheryl Littell-Seiwald and husband Rick of Perry, Kansas, Jeff Griffin and wife Denise of Rolla, Missouri, and Rodney Griffin and wife Diana of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren, Raquelle Ivery, Logan Littell and wife Amber, Erica Seiwald, Gretchen Hayes, Kelsey Seiwald, Rodney Griffin, Jr., Emily Griffin, Collin Griffin, Kira Griffin, Jackson Griffin, Joe Griffin, Luke Griffin and Lenna Griffin; great-grandchildren, Brynlee Littell, Shelby, Lyle, and Samantha Seiwald, Holden, Grahan, and Rhett Hayes, and Kinsley Seiwald; brothers, Darrell Littell and wife Annette of Florida, Don Littell and wife Barbara of Overland Park, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene Littell and wife Mae; and granddaughter, Morgan Jeanne Sullivan.

Graveside service will be Monday, December 18, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the Rolla Cemetery in Rolla, Kansas with Pastor Eric Mason officiating. Masonic rites will be by the Hugoton Masonic Lodge #406. Friends may call Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Hugoton. Memorials may be given to Pheasant Heaven Charities in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 423 S Main, Hugoton, KS 67951.
