Obed Quintana is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior runner Obed Quintana is this week’s Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Quintana finished 22nd out of 259 runners last weekend at Rim Rock in Lawrence. Quintana ran the race in a personal best 17:13. He qualified for state in both his freshman and sophomore seasons. He also runs track, plays basketball, participates in FCA, Standout, and is a member of National Honors Society. He and the Redskins run at Newton Saturday.
