Newton One Hits Liberal

Liberal’s softball girls stayed a while after their game to get a taste of regional softball. Liberal’s team stayed to watch the Great Bend-Hutch game and part of the Hutch-Newton game seeing the level of ball this program one day wants to play. But 2010 wasn’t the year quite yet for LHS. Newton beat Liberal 10-0 in five innings. Liberal had one hit. The Lady Skins finish 4-17 in Patt Knott’s first year as head coach. But Liberal showed a vast improvement at the J.V. level.
