Adult Raku Ceramics Workshop At Baker Arts Center

Come in to the Baker Arts Center at 624 N. Pershing to create basic thrown and

hand-built ceramic forms to be fired in the Raku process.  This Japanese method

produces metallic and iridescent surfaces on the pieces.  Class will meet on

Friday,  September  12, 2014 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and Saturday, September 13,

2014  from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Glazing will be Friday, September 26 from

6:30 to 9:30 pm.  Raku firing Saturday, September 27, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Cost is $40.00 for members and $50.00 for nonmembers. Call 624-2810 for more

information and to enroll.
