Grant County Collision Injures Two
08/13/2014

Two trucks collided in Grant County Tuesday afternoon injuring both drivers.  The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at about 2 p.m. about 18 miles northeast of Ulysses.  Thirty-three year old Angel Salas of Ulysses was driving a 2007 Freightliner south on Grant County road X.  Twenty year old Jorge Dominguez-Gonzalez of Garden City  was driving a 1985 International Truck east on Grant County Road 11.  The Freightliner failed to yield to the truck causing a collision in the intersection.  Both vehicles came to rest southeast of the intersection.  Salas and Dominguez-Gonzalez were both taken to St. Catherines Hospital in Garden City with injuries.
