Seward County Historical Society To Host Christmas Open House
12/14/2013

Seward County Historical Society’s Christmas Open House is Dec. 15 1:30-3:30 p.m. The Open House is a come and go event celebrating the opening of our new exhibit “Trains, Trees & Tinsel.” SCHS’s very own historian Lidia Hook-Gray will be our guest speaker at 2:30 p.m. Lidia has such vast knowledge of our history and was instrumental in the renovations of the Liberal Depot. Lidia ‘s exhibit is amazing !!!!! On display, you will find the mighty Samson of the Cimarron diorama and Niffyville model train layout engineered by Gary Dearing. Also there will be other Rock Island artifacts. Don’t miss your chance to win a Cielo 46” 3D compatible TV. Tickets are on sale for $10 at the museum or from any “Dorothy.” and all proceeds benefit the Historical Society. The drawing will be held after Lidia’s presentation. Your support is appreciated and we look forward to seeing you at our Christmas Open House. It’s all about Christmas with great refreshments and Holiday cheer.
