10/09/2013

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Hispanic groups are putting together a forum this month to discuss economic development in Kansas.

The event is planned for Oct. 23 at the National Center for Aviation Training in Wichita. It begins at 8 a.m. and includes a 12:30 p.m. luncheon to wrap it up.

Gov. Sam Brownback is expected to lead a panel discussion on empowering Hispanic small businesses. Also on tap are other talks on resources for businesses and a presentation on showcasing a business.
