Tucker Hits for Cycle in Win

BJ's shake hands after 20-3 win over Hutchinson.

Lamar's Stephen Tucker hit for the cycle in Liberal's 20-3 win over the Hutchinson Monarchs Thursday night at Brent Gould Field.

The Bee Jays (17-15) scored 10 in the first in rout to the win.

Tucker went 4-4 with seven RBI's. Louisiana Tech's Alex Williams went 3-6 with a homer, double, and four RBI's. Lafayette's Alex Fuselier was 3-3 with two RBI's. Tennessee's Dylan Hochevar pitched three innings. Cal State LA's Camron Collard (1 inning), New Mexico Junior College's Josh Reyes (1 inning), Pepperdine's Tyler Hess (2 innings), Sam Houston State's Will Skelton (1 inning), and Emporia State's Diego Soto (1 inning) combined on the mound.

Liberal plays at Derby Saturday and Sunday nights at 7:00 PM on Talkradio 1270 and kscb.net.
