4th Of July Activities In Liberal
07/02/2009

Brent Gould Field on the campus of Seward County Community College/Area Technical School will be a buzz with activity this 4th of July. A family picnic, sponsored by First Southern Baptist Church, will kick off at 4:00pm with Ball park hotdogs, chips, drinks, sno-cones, and popcorn. They will also have 7 bounce houses and an obstacle course for the kids to play on throughout the afternoon. The Liberal BJs will be taking on the Dodge City A’s at 7:00pm in a game that has been bought out by the Community Bank and Pizza Hut. Immediately following the game, there will be a huge public fireworks display sponsored by the City of Liberal, Pizza Hut, and the Community Bank. The fireworks should last at least 45 minutes. All of these activities, the picnic, including the food, drinks, and bounce houses, the game, and the fireworks, are free to the public.
