Bee Jays Rout Hays 13-1

The Liberal Bee Jays had no problems Tuesday in a 13-1 win over the Hays Larks at Brent Gould Field.

Dylan Hochevar earned the win pitching eight innings and giving up just one run off of five hits. He added six strikeouts. Chad Comer went 3-3 with a double, triple and two rbi's. Tanner Rindels was 2-5 with two rbi's, while Mitch Caster was 3-5 with one rbi. Liberal scored three runs in the third inning and six in the sixth.

Hays drops to 1-5 in the Jayhawk League, while the Bee Jays improve to 4-3 in the league. They will host Hays again Wednesday at 7 p.m. KSCB and the Legend will be the buyout sponsor and the prizes will include 250 dollars cash. The game will air on Talkradio 1270 and kscb.net.
