KJCCC Holds Ransom High
11/15/2011

After leading his team to a pair of wins over previously
undefeated teams at the Garden City Pepsi Classic over the weekend,
Seward County Saints freshman guard Kaheem Ransom has been named the
KJCCC Co-Player of the Week.  Ransom averaged 19.5 points, 5 rebounds,
and 3 steals per game in the two contests and finished the weekend
shooting 64% from the field and 58% from the three point line.  Friday
against Highland, Ransom paced Seward to a blowout win over the
Scotties, scoring 23 points on 8 of 12 shooting and 3 of 4 from the
three point line.  Saturday against North Platte he finished 6 for 10
from the floor and 4 of 8 from the three point line to put up 16 points
and also chipped in 6 rebounds from the guard position in the Saints
78-61 win over the Knights. Ransom shares the honor this week with Allen
County guard Canon Fields.
