Baker Arts Center Backyard Blast Tomorrow

Baker Arts Center in Liberal will host their annual Backyard Blast this Saturday at 5:30pm. The event will start of with their annual meeting with dinner free to members and new members catered by Billy's. Entertainment for the evening will be a 100% audience vote vocal talent competition. 14 artists will be vying for the first place prize of a 30 minute performance at the Kansas State Fair. Second place will recieve a karaoke machine, with third place getting an mp3 player. Contestants include: Lorrie Cook, Brett Yates, Wally Garcia, Alisha Fornash, Chris Bedada, Jordan Urban, Irene Sandoval, Jeff Sadler, Jessica Parsons, Janny Ourn, Kelsi Moree, Jarity Marsh Janie Kitch and Briana King. Entertainment is free to the public, and your encouraged to bring your lawn chairs to this family event. For more information call the Baker Arts Center at 620-624-2810.
