Bulldogs Win in Sloppy Effort
06/04/2009

Maybe its offseason weights beginning or starting that new job this first week of June. Or maybe it was just an off night. But for the Liberal Bulldogs, even an off night meant two wins last night at Ulysses. Liberal won the league game 8-6 despite a fourth inning in which the Bulldogs committed four errors. Fredrick Gomez led the Bulldogs offensively going 3-4 with a double. Brandon Granger pitched five innings for the win. Jace Moore earned the save. Liberal won the non-league game 3-1. Both teams had three hits a piece in that game. Liberal is 6-0 and goes to Garden City Monday.
