Alex Adame the Second of Billy's 10 Best

The second winner of the Billy's 10 Best Scholarship is Alex Adame of Southwestern Heights.  He is pictured above in the superman shirt.  Adame had 14 tackles and a fumble recovery in the Mustang 15-14 win over Elkhart in Elkhart Friday.  He is a member of FCCLA, plays three sports and coaches flag football.   Adame was named the second winner of Billy's 10 Best Thursday night during the On the Sidelines show which airs Thursday nights at 6 p.m. on 102.7, The Legend.  Sublette's Garret Tatman was the first winner.   A Tyrone winner will be named during next Thursday's show. 

Each team featured on Thursday night's “On the Sidelines” will have a $250.00 Senior Recipient chosen from the next nights game and will be announced the following week on “the SportsGuys” and again Thursday night at Billy's.

The recipient will be chosen by football coaching staff and will be awarded for best performance, most dedicated, most hustle, etc as decided by staff.

Nine area winners will be joined by one Liberal Redskin Senior (Picked the ninth game of year).

At the conclusion of season the 10 Winners plus their parents, and the Head Coach and Wife will be honored at a dinner honoring Billy's Ten Best. The night will include a dinner, a speaker, and the announcement of one winner, who will receive an additional $250 Scholarship.

The scholarship will be distributed the following year to the college - Vo Tech that the winner is attending.

Thursday “On the Sidelines Schedule” airs at 6:05 p.m. on 102.7 FM 'The Legend”.  The game of the week airs at 7 p.m. Friday nights on 102.7 'The Legend'.

October 21 - Satanta (vs. Sublette)
