05/27/2009

Woodward, Oklahoma was the site of the K-101 Classic Bowl girls basketball games on Tuesday. Liberal head coach Shane Stout was named Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Skins to a 21-2 season. He then coached the White team to a 67-62 win over the Red team. Beaver's Cami Gabel scored five in the win. Forgan's Brett Trippet coached in the second game in which the White team beat the Red team 82-76. Forgan's Kalli Ritterbush scored 10 in the win while Beaver's Sarayah Oyler dropped in seven for the White team. Sarayah's sister Mariah Oyler scored four for the Red and Turpin's Amanda Becker scored four. Liberal's Hannah Rotolo and Kiara Cohens were both invited to the event but didn't play due to injury. The boys basketball game is Thursday and the football game is Saturday.
