Memorial Day Services Scheduled

The American Legion and Legion Auxillary have scheduled Memorial Day Services and Tributes for Monday May 25th. Services this year will begin at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetary at 9:00am and then move to the Liberal Cemetary for services at 10:30am. Readings, songs and prayers will be a part of the service as will the playing of Taps to pay tribute to the service to the men and women serving in countries throughout the world, and as a reminder to not forget any veteran who has served, died, or paid with their lives for our freedom in this country. Family,friends, and the general public are invited to attend. Poppies will also be available through the American Legion Auxillary.
