Lady Saints Offense Struggles in Win

Seward hit just 36 percent of their field goals in a 69-43 win over Dodge City in front of a big homecoming crowd in the Green House Saturday night. Seward improves to 23-5 overall and 11-3 in the Jayhawk West. Amanda Pierson led the way with 19 points while Rachel Barnes added 14 points and seven rebounds. LaNell Taylor dropped in 11 points in the win. Seward forced 25 Dodge City (5-24, 1-14) turnovers and held the Lady Conqs to 33 percent shooting. Seward hosts Garden City Wednesday night at 6 pm on B107.5 and kscb.net.
