Heat Bares Down on BJ's

The Liberal Bee Jays drop two of three games at Haysville after a 10-8 loss at Vulcan Field in Haysville Sunday night.  The Bee Jays led 3-0 with two outs in the bottom before the Heat scored five runs including two unearned to make it 5-3.  They built a 9-3 lead on Liberal in the fifth.  They led 10-4 in the sixth.  Liberal scored three to make it 10-8 in the eighth.  Eddie Arroyo was 4-5 with three stolen bases and a triple in the loss.  Kansas State's Jared Moore was effective out of the bullpen with two scoreless innings. 

Liberal is 12-4 overall and 5-4 in the Jayhawk.  Haysville is 7-5.  Liberal hosts El Dorado for a three games series Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Brent Gould Field on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
