The Liberal Country Club was once again the place for Southwest Kansas Jayhawks to be.  The KU Alumni Association Southwest Chapter hosted their golf classic Friday.  Hall of famer Gale Sayers was in attendance for the event.  His interview can be heard during the Tuesday Sportsguys between 7:37 and 9 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.

Broadcasting legend and Ulysses native Gary Bender is now working for KU and returned to his roots.  His interview can be heard Wednesday during the Sportsguys.

The man who set the Big 8 record for field goal percentage (62%) and led the 1991 Jayhawks to the championship game Mark Randall was a guest during the Friday morning Sportsguys.
