FCCJ got on the board with an unearned run in the fourth, but waited to get the bats going until its final at-bat, when the Stars pounded out four hits, including a two-run single from Jamie Booker, and tallied two more runs on a ill-timed error, to take a 5-4 lead. Seward committed four errors in the seventh. FCCJ reliever Crystal Chesser, who fanned six in 4.1 innings of relief, worked a perfect bottom half of the seventh to close the game.
