McKenzie Wright is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week (Interview Included)

Another freshman wins the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Jumper McKenzie Wright wins this week's honors.  She placed second in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump at regionals last week in Wichita to qualify for state.  She was the WAC champion in the high jump at 4'11".  Her best high jump this year is 5'2".  Her best triple jump is 33'5" and her top long jump is 15'9".  She is one of six Lady Redskins to compete at state this weekend at Cessna Stadium in Wichita.
