City Lends Helping Hand to Business Owners
05/03/2011

The City of Liberal is hosting an event to help you help the city tonight.  The city hosts a small business night Tuesday night from 5-7 at the Rock Island Depot.  City of Liberal Economic Development Director Jeff Parsons says it's a chance to help businesses get off the ground.  "The idea is if there is somebody out there who is thinking of opening their small business or expanding an existing business that they already own and they need some information, we're going to try to provide a forum," Parsons said during Talkradio 1270 Live From Broadcast Square.  "We're gathering some resources and some folks from the area will come together."

The event provides the opportunity for businesses to gather information including literature from over 50 franchises and talk with respresentatives of local resources for businesses.  Refreshments will served.  For more information, call 626-2255.
