Better Day for Redskins at Mariah Hills

Liberal's golf team improved their score by 31 strokes Thursday at Mariah Hills in Dodge City.  After a 382 at Hays, the players held a players only meeting this week.  They regrouped to shoot a 351 Thursday to place eighth out of 12.  Alex Colvin led Liberal with an 84 followed by Blake Romero (87), Blake Stout (88), Zane Ralston (92), Lucas Poulton (95), Kyle Clay (103), and Zach Stout (108).  Hays High's Nick Von Lintel shot a six under par 65 for first.  The Indians won the tournament with a 302.  The Redskins go to Great Bend May 2.
