Isaac Gallegos is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week
04/11/2011

Isaac Gallegos

Liberal junior Isaac Gallegos is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  The sprinter has won the 200 twice running the race at 22.92 in Ulysses and 23.31 at Liberal's 5 State Relays.  He won the 400 at Ulysses in 51.51 and was second in Liberal at 52.19.  Gallegos teamed with Adebayo Braimah, Michael Sena, and Alejandro Avila to win the 4x400 in one of the most exciting races Friday with a time of 3:32.24 just edging Holcomb.  That group also won the Ulysses race with remarkably the exact same time at 3:32.24.  Gallegos and the Redskins travel to the Great Bend meet Tuesday.
