The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch for the Oklahoma Panhandle.
The watch for Beaver, Cimarron and Texas counties runs from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.
Forecasters say sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts between 50 mph and 60 mph will be possible. Those driving high-profile vehicles could be affected and visibilities could be reduced because of blowing dust.
The winds will accompany a spring-like storm system that's expected to sweep across the region over the weekend.
Winds are expected to diminish by Sunday night.
