Liberal Bee Jays Release 2009 Schedule

The Liberal Bee Jays Board of Directors released the 2009 Schedule Tuesday to the media. The schedule will include 29 home games with 19 of them taking place in June. The Bee Jays will have 18 road games. The Bee Jays will open up their season at home with a four game series beginning on Thursday, June 4 against conference foe El Dorado. Other games headlining the schedule include the annual 4th of July game in which Liberal will host Dodge City. The Bee Jays will also host Fairbanks, Alaska on Wednesday, July 28. There will not be regularly scheduled double headers this year. They will play single nine inning games with all home games starting at 7 p.m.

June 4-7 vs. El Dorado; June 8-9 vs. Junction City; June 11-12 vs. Colorado Sox; June 16-17 vs. Hays; June 19-22 vs. Derby; June 25-29 vs. Colorado Renegades; July 3 vs. Wichita Wheat Kings; July 4-5 vs. Dodge City; July 9 vs. Hutchinson Monarchs; July 15 vs. Dodge City; July 16 vs. Park City Rangers; July 20-21 vs. Hays; July 25 vs. Dodge City; July 28 vs. Fairbanks, Alaska
