Liberal shrugged off a fast start by Scott City and beat Scott City (3-4) 59-47 Friday night in Scott City.  Liberal broke open what was a 28-24 halftime lead and tooks two leads of 13 points (41-28 and 47-34) in route to their fifth win.  Justice Norah equaled her second best scoring total (31 last year against Sunrise Christian) by pouring in 31 points.  Marisol Regalado scored 10 and Liberal's defense shut down Scott in the second half.  Liberal is 5-4 and plays 4A powerhouse Colby at Colby's Community Building Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on Talkradio 1270.
