JC Penney Program To Help Liberal Latchkey
12/08/2010

The JCPenney Afterschool Fund Holiday Round-Up, through its partnership with United Way, is running a special promotion to help local after-school programs.

When you shop at the Liberal JC Penney between Dec. 1 and 14 and round your purchase up to the next whole dollar, the JC Penney Afterschool Fund will donate the difference to the Liberal Latchkey Program to provide children in this community with access to life-enriching afterschool programs.

Just tell the JC Penney Associate at the cash register that you want to round up your purchase to the next dollar. “It’s amazing how just a few cents from each person can add up,” said Kay Burtzloff, Seward County United Way director. “I know that last year when they did this promotion, our Latchkey Program received more than $2,000.”
