Auditions Set For "West Side Story"

Be a part of the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, as Seward County

Community College/Area Technical School and Liberal High School combine

efforts to present West Side Story.

Auditions are set for 6 pm., Monday, Nov. 15 at Liberal High School Music

room and 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16 at SCCC/ATS Theater.

Anyone who would like to help with the show, should meet at 4 p.m.,

Wednesday, Nov. 10 or 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 11 in the LHS Music Room

Set in New York City in the mid-1950s, the musical explores the rivalry

between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different

ethnic backgrounds.

The Performance will be at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 17-19 and 2 p.m., Feb. 20 in

James Maskus Auditorium at LHS.
