Kansas farmers are nearly finished bringing in their fall crops.
Kansas Agricultural Statistics Service reports Monday that only 3% of the corn is left in the field. About 16% of the sorghum and 12% of the soybeans still need to be harvested.
Planting of Kansas' winter wheat crop is nearly done as well. The agency reports growers had planted 97% of their wheat acreage by the end of last week, slightly ahead of the typical pace.
