Rattlers Reach Round of Three

The Cimarron River Rattlers reached the round of three in the Midwest Plains Regional Baseball Tournament at Liberal's Brent Gould Field.  The Rattlers play West Fargo, North Dakota Monday at 1.  The winner faces Booneville, Missouri at 3:30 in the championship.  If Booneville wins, it's over.  If Booneville loses, there would be a final championship Tuesday at 10:30.  The Rattlers beat Boone, Iowa Sunday night 7-4 to advance. 

The Rattlers won the game over Boone 7-4 Sunday night.  Elijah McCarter won the WOW and Alex Yanez was the MVP.  Sunday afternoon, the Rattlers beat Moorhead, Minnesota 11-8.  Cesar Burciaga won the WOW and Xavier Perez was the MVP.  Saturday the Rattlers beat Scottsbluff, Nebraska 18-8.  Burciaga won the MVP and Perez won the WOW.

West Fargo, Nortth Dakota 10 Moorhead, Minnesota 5

Booneville, Missouri, 11 Boone, Iowa 2

Sunday

Boone, Iowa 10 Parsons, Kansas 5

Rattlers 11 Moorhead, Minnesota 8

Booneville, Missouri 8 West Fargo, North Dakota 4

Rattlers 7 Boone, Iowa 4
