Liberal Rattlers 16U results from Jim Clanton Tournament


 

Pool Game 1 – vs. Ulysses


 

Liberal wins 7-6, scores 4 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Sylman Pando drove in GW run with no out double.


 

Pool Game 2 – vs. Dodge City


 

Liberal wins 7-6, scoring 6 in the bottom of the 5th inning (game shortened due to time limit). Jacob McCarter GW single.


 

Pool Game 3 – vs. Butler County Cubs


 

Liberal wins 9-6, scoring 9 runs in first inning, on 3 hits (Sylman Pando (2) and Cole Evans). Game was complete after 3 innings due to time limit.


 

Liberal Rattlers 3-0 through pool play. Took on Butler County Yankees on Sunday for championship. Lost 19-1 in 4 innings.


 

The Liberal Bulldogs travel to Hugoton on Tuesday for a doubleheader, and the Liberal Rattlers 16U take on Minneola on Wednesday at 6 at the Liberal Baseball Complex.
