Bulldogs Win Two Sunday

 The Liberal Bulldogs went 2-1 Sunday to finish 3-3 at Dodge City's tournament this weekend.  The day began with a 12-0 loss to the Butler County Cubs.  But  Liberal bounced back and beat Great Bend 8-5.  Serbando Avila pitched five strong innings for the win.  Brandyn Terrazas was 2-4 with two runs while Avila was 2-4 with a double and an RBI and Kaiden Long drove home a run.  Liberal beat Little River 5-1.  The game was called with two outs in the third due to weather.  Sylman and Lorenzo Pando both were 1-2 with RBI's.  Angel Archuleta was the winning pitcher.  Liberal is 8-10 and hosts the Woodward Travelers Wednesday at 6.
